7.8.1.5. Control through Trackers

minute read

These requests, once received, will be converted into trackers and shall be closely monitored by the management of the Client and should be reported out weekly by the Contractor to the Client, and included within their weekly and monthly reports notifying and unresolved claims associated with these constraints and their timely resolution.

As a matter of good practise, the GC should discuss the unresolved issues in their daily / weekly site meeting with GMs.

Each of the requests once satisfactorily concluded needs to be closed by the GC, confirming that the issue is resolved to their satisfaction and confirmation that no further issues are pending from Client towards that request Serial Number. GM shall insist for such written feedback. Such communication shall be appropriately kept on record.

All further communication against a particular request should be sent in the same email thread and not by a new mail.

7.8.1.6. Management of NSC

Like the GC's issues/constraints, the NSC might face issues concerning their work delivery.

The NSC shall escalate such issues/constraints to the GC for their management. GC shall create a similar mechanism of managing the constraints of the NSC vendor.

However, concerning any issues/challenges raised by the NSC, if the same requires escalation to the Client, those shall be raised through Category 5 request viz. Request for NSC Management (RFN) irrespective of the type of issues.

7.8.1.7. Implementation

This process shall be implemented from 1 ST February 2021 in all the sites. Effective 1 st February 2021, raising of constraints through CRP form, in time, shall be pre-requisite for any Extension of Time or Entitlement of cost. Any CRP request form incomplete or incorrect information shall be rejected and sent back. Pertinent information to be sent to all the GCs and Contractors (non-GC projects). The Commercial Department should endeavour to include CRP mechanism in the standard template of GCC and also amend the existing ongoing Contracts with in a reasonable time.
